"Success is not measured by what you accomplish but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds."

Impossible Is Just A Word Thrown Around To Give Comfort To Those Who Quit

I wrote this self-growth guide, not as a professional, but as someone who has been down some of the paths you’re now traversing. It’s short, but it encases many hardships together, as a whole. If you can bear in mind everything I’ve said and still HAVE YET to say in the upcoming "Mind" Articles, then you should be fully capable of coming to terms with who you are and whatever problems life may be plaguing you with. Of course, I know things may be rough now but life wasn’t meant to be a cake-walk, but that’s what makes it life; a never-ending quest to find out who we are. To find out what we’re made of. To find out our inner strengths. I see it as challenge. No matter what life hardships await me, I’ll be ready to take it on. It’s fun though, not in a sick sort of way, but to me, life is a roller coaster of hardships, losses, joys, sorrows, happiness, perseverance and rewards. Think about it, if our lives were filled with only ups, what kind of roller coaster would that be? Boring predictables with no sense of satisfaction or accomplishment. You’ve got to believe in yourself and your ability to get by. Nothing’s impossible, that’s a word I never use. Impossible is just a word people use to make themselves feel better after they give up.

Remember, You're Not In This Alone

Remember, your life isn’t over until you say it is so keep going. Before I go any further, allow me to revisit our humble self-growth forums where you can gain strength and wisdom from the life stories and life lessons of others. After all, as my the philosophy I've stuck with says, we're all in this together, so, never feel like you have to take on these challenges aone, because you're... we're not alone. Got it? That’s what the self help forum is about, helping others to grow and learn from their own personal experiences. I hope you come out of this with a new-found view on life; you’ll be able to do so much more when you realize your own innate potential; your own personal story of how you overcame yourself, I foresee, will affect others one day in a great way. Yes yes, I know, you may not have that mindset NOW, but keep your heart open; you’re more awesome than you think.

What's To Come

We’re not done yet though, as I said earlier, this was merely an appetizer. The "Mind" articles pack a lot more life lessons into them. Regardless of the article topic, the scope of the lessons attainable is both far and wide. Yet, before we go on to those areas, I want to end THIS segment with one of my favorite melodies. This song never fails to invigorate the mind. Let it fill you with courage and motivation. No looking back! No HOLDING back! Let our actions, backed by insight, dictate the course in which our‍ destinies will unfold upon... for better, or for worse.

Cordially,

Matthew
